Hi everyone!

So I just found out I failed FAR for the 3rd time (66, 68, 69). After much hesitation, I have decided to finally make the switch to Yaeger. I held off for a while because I really like how Becker is set up (the software, instructors, questions, sims, book.. ETC), but it’s clear now that it’s not working. I ordered 2011 FAR Yaeger back in November but didn’t really use it for my January exam because I didn’t like the layout…all the CDs, the book with the terribly small font, no pretty software. So, I wanted to see if any other converts had some advice….how did you actually use the Yaeger materials to study? Just pop in a CD, listen and take notes? Use the handouts? What about questions…use the CD software, the book? Also, how long would you suggest studying for FAR using Yaeger? With Becker I’d just do a chapter a week but I don’t think Yaeger works like that…

Any help would be much appreciated as I’m about to give up on this exam all together.

You sound almost exactly like me. I just failed FAR for the second time. Just got a 73. I have been using Becker. Now I am wanting to switch to Yaeger. But I don't' know if I should read the book, or just listen to the lectures and take notes. Also, should I just do the questions that they recommend in the Wiley book, or should I do questions from the Wiley test bank? How many? In Becker, I also do a chapter per week

Hey I posted my yaeger far strategy in the far sticky forum…I.didn't touch.the wiley test bank…only did the min. Mcqs and sims…at least 3 times each. The hand out is worth gold…no need to read the chapters. Good luck!!!

I'm hoping your right, I keep on feeling im memorizing the questions and everything but I've done the Min like 3 times (up to about 90% right) and been going through all the Wiley questions now (getting 80% right), I have 2 weeks before the exam…I am nervous about them throwing alot of things that they didn't go over in the Wiley book on the test

Hey guys I am considering getting Yaegar after failing FAR for a second time. I want to take FAR in 5-6 weeks. Is this enough time to really get through Yaegar? I was using Becker and Wiley MC

Herbieherb- What is the FAR Sticky Forum? I want to see your Yaeger study strategy, but I'm not sure which forum you are talking about. What's the actual name of it? Thank you and congratulations on passing your final exam.
