I used Lambers to study for BEC and did not pass. I am thinking about trying a different review program. I’ve heard so many good things about Yaeger on this site but it sounds like the same format/style as Lambers so I can’t really decide.

Has Lambers helped anyone else?

Does Yaeger teach in the same style?

i don't know about Lamber's for BEC, even though I bought all four programs from Lambers. I didn't use Lambers for Bec, I didn't even look at the videos once, i used CPAforfree. Lambers is great for Audit and Reg.

I was happy with Lambers videos being the “teaching” style and from what I've read thats the way Yeager is.

I wasn't happy with Lambers books as much. I kinda want something more visual. I've looked over the Becker books and I think I like the way they read better but I really didn't want to spend the money on Becker.

Do the Wiley books look more like Lambers or Becker or something else?

Yaeger uses the best book out there, the Wiley book. The Wiley book comes with the Yaeger Home Study and Yaeger teaches from the Wiley book. You will be very happy with Yaeger and the Wiley book!

Before you get into anything that uses the Wiley book, I highly recommend you go to your local Borders or Barnes and Noble and look at the Wiley books yourself. They're enormous with a ton more detail than necessary. The print is small and it's incredibly too much information for my liking.

That's just my opinion.
