You have planned a weekend away for Fall Break to your friends lakehouse in Michigan and the plans fall through…AND you are secretly doing the happy dance because you were wondering how the heck you were going to get in all your studying!!!!

These are funny! I know I was studying too much when dinner conversation with my fiance was about the different depreciation methods businesses use or when I went on and on explaining the difference between the cash and accrual basis. It was really a one-sided conversation. He just nodded and said “I'm lost”. Bless his heart.

    AUD: 07/11/11 - Passed
    BEC: 08/27/11 - Passed
    FAR: 01/17/12 - Passed
    REG: 04/30/12; Re-take 7/16/12 - Passed

    FINISHED!!!!!!!!

Everytime my fiance hears the word “depreciate” he impersonates Roger Phillips “D-D-D-D-D-D deprecation! That's right!” I haven't studied with Roger since my first failed exam (FAR) over two years ago. That's how long his annoying (or some people say “catchy”) phrases stay with you. πŸ˜‰

Also I've been filled with anxiety all day today because tomorrow my FAR would have expired if I hadn't passed REG last testing window…

    FAR: 71, 77
    BEC: 70, 82
    AUD: 62, 78
    REG: 71, 68, 85

Paid for a trip to Laughlin with 20 friends for the weekend (only $40 but still) and skip it because you don't think you have enough time to study even though your exam is in a month :O I would NEVER have done this in my pre-CPA exam life. Will never do it in my post-CPA exam life.

Also, I read gossip websites sometimes to clear my head and was reading a story about some celeb who was gonna leave their fortune to charities when they died and all I could think about was Form 706 being filed 9 months after the date of death and whatever estate crap cus I was studying for REG.

    AUD: 84
    REG: 84
    BEC: 79
    FAR: 83

When your DVR is “3% free” because you have 5 Dexter, 8 SYTYCD, & 5 Shark Tank shows waiting for you, among many others…

    BEC: 73, 81
    AUD: 85
    FAR: 71, 77
    REG: 74, 75...finally DONE! πŸ˜€

*This is my 2nd attempt at the CPA exam. For all of you who have failed this exam many times, given up on it, or taken a break like me, remember that it is still possible to finish what you started...failure is the opportunity to begin again more intelligently πŸ™‚
