@yankeeaccountant…My days are always good regardless of whether they give me work or not…lol…Work is never exciting because this place is like 16th century style and I'm the only young person here..everyone else is 50+..lol…

I'm taking all 4 sections from Jan-Aug of next year..FAR, AUD, BEC, and REG in that order..I wish I could take them now, but I'm still going to school at night and taking Business Law II.

Markius you could still take them now! Is it because you're worried about the time available to study or because you need more credits. The exams can totally be done while in school, and working, and raising 2 kids, and leading a girl scout troop and renovating a 200 year old house. Easy schmeezy!

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

Massachusetts CPA (non reporting) since 3/12.

@mla1169..I'm not elegilible to sit for the exam now because 6 hours of Business Law are required in FL before being allowed to take it; otherwise I would not even be here.lol..I'm studying for FAR though..

well, I think the people you work with can make or break a job. The business law will be a big help with REG. I took business law way back in 1985

yes, I am close to your coworkers age!!–and really had to go over the b-law portion, I obviously didn't retain much. Really??!

You have a good game plan, and a job that doesn't seem to put any undue pressure on you. That will be so helpful when you are in the circus that is the cpa exam. Good luck!

When you start using amortize, defer, depreciate, contingent, liability, and any other accounting terms in normal, everyday conversation with non-accountants. I'm doing accounting even in my dreams (or nightmares depending on the night).

    FAR 88 (07/15/11)
    BEC 83 (08/31/11)
    AUD 81 (10/15/11)
    REG 83 (11/26/11)

    Used NIU Correspondence CPA Review
