Will Prometric allow me to switch two test sections with each other?

    Hi all,

I’ve been a lurker here for awhile and finally have a question. I have FAR coming up on Dec. 6th and then AUD on Jan. 26th, and I am wondering if Prometric would allow me to switch the two sections to be tested at the same dates and times without charging me the rescheduling fee. Money’s a little tight right now and I would feel much more comfortable taking AUD in three weeks than taking FAR so soon. I just took REG on Nov. 2nd, so I’m waiting on those results.

    Thanks for any help!

I would say no. Not 100%, but I'm pretty sure. I think you'd have to request it at the NASBA level, and see what they say. i think Prometric just follows the rules set forth by NASBA … and they follow them to a “T”. Best of luck.

    It's finally freaking over.

Thanks for the reply. I'm sure you're right about that.

Do you think it would be a good idea to do it anyway? I feel more confident about cramming AUD into three weeks, especially since it's more conceptual (to me), than I do about FAR what with the unreal amount of information.

I did exactly what you are proposing and had to pay the fee (should be one fee of $35 based on the dates)

I was successful and passed audit, but ended up putting off financial and having to cram for it anyway (I think I was just overwhelmed by the amount of material). So just be sure you don't keep putting it off!

That said, REG and FAR back to back could be rough. If you are going to reschedule, I would consider taking BEC instead of audit. Audit is best to take after FAR and BEC is still a nice break compared to REG/FAR (I know the BEC haters club would disagree!)

    BEC 81
    AUD 76
    FAR 70, 76
    REG 58, 78! DONE!
