Who else is studying today and feels absolutely burned out and fried?

I feel like a hamburger that I should be throwing on the grill right now. Seriously reviewing FAR for Thursday and trying to fight the burn out. I studied over the second half of tax season, started FAR first week of March, and have been studying since. Pass or fail I need a break after this hopefully last one. Anyone else feeling the burn out?

Final review I always feel like a crazy person. My brain is full of nothing but CPA stuff. My friends and family try to ask me things and I tell them if it's not related to the Securities act of 1934 then I don't know.

I was feeling run down. I decided to take a small “break.” I only did light studying on Friday, mostly reviewing flashcards. Saturday I studied and went to the movies late Saturday night. My review today is much more focused and I seem to be remembering things. Take a breather for a few hours. Don't even think about the test. Maybe pack up the review materials a little early tonight and relax. Your brain will thank you!

    AUD - 65, 89!
    REG - 70, 89!
    FAR - 78!
    BEC - 77!

    Finally!

Final review always burns me out. I just went through three sections and, like, 600+ HW questions in the course of two days with… three more sections and 600+ HW questions to do today and tomorrow. Ugh. It never ends.

There's a light at the end of the tunnel, at least. Just gotta be optimistic.

I'm completely burnt out. I'm getting most of the mcqs wrong. My trending score went from mid 80's to low 70's and I still need to practice the sims. I'm taking far on Tuesday morning. UGH!!! I hate this……. I just want it to be over already.

@james. How are you able to go through so many mcqs? I answered 150 yesterday and it was a huge struggle to get through them.

Well, it's AUD and I've already seen them all at least once, so it's not too bad. There are only 1200 questions total, so re-reading the book and redoing the questions to make sure I understand the concepts is manageable.

Now, if I had done this for FAR I would have probably killed myself. It's just way too big. My final review for FAR was basically endless 30-question progress tests.

I felt like that right before my FAR test. I decided to get the Ninja MCQ that had just come out for a break from my course. While it affected my confidence a little, I really liked seeing new material formatted in a new way that I could break down into smaller chunks. It was also helpful to see those additional questions in the last week as well.

    AUD 83
    FAR 80
    REG 83
    BEC 81

Me! I'm taking FAR Thursday as well and this morning I woke up, started doing questions and was getting them mostly wrong. It's like there's been a block on my brain. I left the house and did some shopping just to get out. Now I'm back home and feel a bit better. Man, I am sooo burned out. I feel like I still have a lot to learn but my brain just won't take any more. I must pass FAR or I lose BEC and my summer with my family is OVER.

    FAR- 85 I'm DONE!
    BEC- 75
    REG- 60,60,75
    AUD- 74,74,83

CPAExcel used for BEC, AUD, REG
Exam Matrix used for FAR plus NINJA Blitz, cpareviewforfree and a little CPAExcel
