I just started studying for AUD yesterday (retake, lost credit) and my motivation is nowhere to be found. I am waiting on my BEC score (also a retake) and I feel somewhat confident that I did well enough to pass so this is hopefully my last section. I am taking audit on August 28th and pushing it back isn’t an option because I lose credit for REG the same day I’m taking AUD. I just have no motivation right now! The material isn’t hard because I’ve been in audit for over 3 years now and I already passed this exam once but it’s SO dry. All I can hear is Tim Gearty’s voice saying “again, again, highlight this, alright scholars, again”. I love Becker and its helped me pass all of the sections but seriously, the audit material is so boring. Not to mention, work is insanely busy right now which is really distracting. I just hope that I somehow black out the month of August and manage to get it done and then wonder for the rest of my life, how I accomplished it!

the last exam was meant to be a motivator for me – hence leaving FAR for last….but after 2 years and preparing for 8 exams at the end of the day rather than 4…burnt out doesn't even begin to describe how i feel.

My golden is doing okay…thanks for asking. He's tolerating the chemo well and so far no signs of new cancer. Hopefully we have lots of months left.

I am on my last exam, and it is the dreaded FAR. I just finished working on some files, and it is almost 9:30 already. My slow season has somehow truned busy, and I am now struggling to find time to study. So, I will work on some MCQ's for the next 30min – 1hr while finishing a glass of wine.

@exlurker I hope you're right! I have almost made it through A1 and it's all relatively familiar and surprisingly, I'm remembering things from 3 years ago when I originally studied. I am feeling much more motivated now as I'm almost done with the first chapter- getting started is always intimidating and the hardest part. Good luck to you! @Amanda_88-I think we are twins! I too am waiting for BEC and am taking Audit on August 28th! I REALLY hope this is my last section as well. I am so burnt out and have lost all motivation to study. I have to actually have a pep talk with myself each time I pick up the laptop to study. It'll all be worth it in the end! Good luck everyone!!!

I'm about to start studying for AUD, taking it August 30th. I watched all the videos for FAR, which was my first exam and said never agian. Takes way too long to watch them and the MCQ offer much more bang for your buck. I've actually scored better since abandoning the videos.

Me! and I just found out I failed my first attempt at REG with a 74. I was really hoping this was it. I definitely scored better than I thought..the exam was brutal for me. But 1 point? Seriously? It's like a slap in the face.

@Kimboroni, we are in the same boat. Both passed REG and BEC for the grand finale. How far are you into BEC and when will you sit? I'm coming out the gate slow (two weeks in), (Becker) just finished B3 lecture and just started B1 HW. Now that REG is behind me, hopefully I concentrate on BEC. I plan to sit on 8/27.
