I havent passed any yet but thought i would start with FAR – this section is a beast? Just wondering if I should expect the same type of challenge with the rest of the exam!

For me, in terms of most to least difficult it was: FAR > REG > AUD > BEC.

FAR was the most difficult for me due to the sheer amount of material that is covered. I also had better professors for the other 3 sections so I came in with a stronger foundation for those parts before I began studying. And I liked the concepts in the other 3 sections more than FAR. . . so far pretty much FAR was torture for me.

REG was my 2nd most difficult because I felt I had to memorize more than AUD and BEC. I probably spent more hours on REG than any other part including FAR but I liked REG so it wasn't like pulling teeth.

AUD and BEC were fairly easy for me. I liked the concepts covered and I had great professors for them so it wasn't that bad.

I felt like REG just fell out of the sky whereas every accounting course in college kinda touched on FAR.

FAR was the hardest hands down. So many topics… I studied the most for that section. I am soooo glad to be done. I hardly slept while I studied for FAR. My nerves were shot, especially since it was my last section to pass.

I didn't think REG was all that bad. It was tough, but I enjoyed learning about corporate tax. I had never studied it before.

The tallest oak in the forest was once just a little nut that held its ground.

It really depends on the person. BEC was the hardest section for me. My order of hardest to easiest would have to be BEC, AUD, FAR, and REG. All the math comes easy to me, and tax is my favorite topic. FAR just has a lot of material that you have to grind out a little longer than the other sections, which makes it harder for most.
