I just started studying for AUD and am following the NINJA framework. I feel like I’ve gotten a lot of information thrown at me from the video lectures and I was just curious on where in the study process everyone felt like they really started retaining the information. I’m just writing notes like crazy and hoping things stick!

Make your own flashcards. Write down the same topic from several different angles. The more ways you can think about it, the better.

It starts to click for me after all the videos, while working problems, and taking additional notes.

I don't think it really sinks in and “sticks” until the last week or two during the final review and rewriting my notes.

My goal is for my exam day to fall during peak stickiness, lol.

Not too soon before I've got in down. But not too late when it starts to slip.
