If you know the material you shouldn't have to practice the SIMs. I have yet to practice SIMs and I've passed three parts so far on my first attempt. All I have left is BEC.

I think it's much more important to make sure you understand the concepts, calculations, and JEs. If you know those, then the SIMs should not be extremely challenging.

A lot of people have been suggesting lately to memorize the standard unqualified opinion. I think this is horrible advice because you really only need to know the keywords to answer multiple choice questions. You can find the standard unqualified report word for word in the authoritative literature for sims.

that's actually good advice. The first time I failed AUD because it kept asking me which paragraphs certain statements fell under in the unqualified opinion and I couldn't remember.
