What to do meanwhile?

I took BEC yesterday, now I have a 2 week window before I find out how I did. I feel like I did pass it (had mixed feeling about it when I walked out, though got better as the time went by). Just wondering if it is worthwhile for me to begin to study for FAR? Thanks in advance for the advise! 🙂

BEC: 5/21/14 82! PASSED HALF WAY THERE!
    FAR: 4/2/15 80! Almost there!
    AUD: 69, 74, 4/3/14 81! PASSED
    REG: TBD

Of course. Might as well do something to keep your mind off the pending test score.

I think you should give yourself some break so you can re-charge. FAR is a lot of material and it will drain you if you don't take a mental break in between your exams. I always took breaks in between my exam to score release.

    FAR: 80 (Aug 2013)
    AUD: 91 (Nov 2013)
    BEC: 79 (Feb 2014)
    REG: 80 (May 2014)

Are you trying to (potentially) be done with everything by the end of the next testing window? If you wait and end up passing, you'll still have a good 12 weeks to fit FAR and REG in. I would hate studying for two weeks in either of those only to find out that, oops, you gotta re-study BEC.

I would advise waiting unless you think you need the extra two weeks to fit FAR and REG in together.

    FAR: May 1st, 2014 - 91
    AUD: May 29th, 2014 - 97!
    BEC: July 16th, 2014 - 91
    REG: August 29th, 2014 - 88

I usually use this time chew off whatever nails I made it through the days leading up to the exam.

I take my fiance on a date, watch a movie or two, we both make it a point to enjoy the moment. I go see friends, make a phone call or two… and then a week later I immerse myself in the next part

    AUD - 75*, 88 done 5/14! (*exp)
    BEC - 74 , 77
    REG - 65 , 76 (10 point combooo!!)
    FAR - 69 , 75

I always took 24 hours off after an exam, then buckled right down on the next section. As many people who run into snags will tell you, that 18 month clock ticks away fast and you don't know what challenges you might be up against over the next year (hopefully nothing unexpected, but you never know).

Use the time whenever you are able, don't take time just for the sake of taking time.

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

Massachusetts CPA (non reporting) since 3/12.

I agree with most of the others on here – start studying! I want to be done with these exams ASAP though. I started studying for my first section on 9/17/13 and if I pass REG on Tuesday, will be at about 8 months total. Why drag out the misery any longer than you have to?? 🙂
