    Hello All,

So the last time I took the exam was about 6 years ago. At one point I had 3 parts passed, and personal reasons got in the way of passing FAR. I have made it my goal that I WILL pass the CPA exam this year. I have 10 years of accounting experience and have run out of excuses. I originally used BISK and Becker.

I am looking to pick up some used study materials on the cheap. I have the entire BISK series from 2011 for all sections. Was looking to perhaps pick up a 2012 Becker or Gleim version.

I know there was a major change to the AUD section in 2013. Any other major changes to sections over the past 3 or 4 years?

    What materials would you recommend?

    FAR- 2014
    AUD- 2014
    REG- 2014
    BEC- 2014

Now days you can really only get used Becker books.

I recommend used Becker 2013 books and Wiley test bank. If you feel like you need lectures I recommend picked up some used Yaeger videos.

I spoke to an ancient wise man who sent me on a mushroom induced journey through an ancient forest to find the key to passing the CPA exam. A talking spider monkey told me to throw the last of my drinking water in the dirt to find what I was looking for. So I followed his instructions and the following message appeared in the soil:

"Do 5000 multiple choice questions for each section"

Roger CPA review program is my recommendation. It's less expensive than becker and coupled with the Wiley test bank which is included as well as purchasing Jeff's ninja notes and audio you should be in great shape. He's engaging and his lectures are seaway entertaining. They are broken out into tolerable segments so you don't get overwhelmed with the material. Good luck!
