I purchased the main self-study material from Becker, but I see many people also buying the final review and notecards. Do I need all of it? I am on a limited budget so I do not want to buy something not needed, but I also want to take the test as few times as possible.

Should I buy the ninja notes too? What are you ladies/gentleman using?

    Any advice???

I was wondering the same thing before I started studying for the exam. My advice would be to not buy the extra study materials unless you find out you really need them. I have never used note cards to study before and I tried to write my own a couple of times to study for these exams but I never end up using them or finishing them so I just stopped. As far as the final review goes, I decided I would buy it only on a section that I failed for extra study material. So far I haven't failed one yet and I have only used the standard Becker 2012 materials which have been enough for me.

    BEC - Feb 2012: 80
    AUD - Feb 2012: 84
    FAR - Apr 2012: 78
    REG - May 2012: 90

    Thanks Becker!

It really depends on your leaning style. All I use is the books and the MCQs software, no videos, no flashcards, no hand-written notes (CPAExcel). Justn study hard, work the MCQs several times as well as the SIMS. The Ninja Notes are a must for all sections..Read them @ least 10 times=quick pts on exam…
