Waiting until you pass to move onto another section? Advice please.

My BEC exam is on July 8th. This was the very last day I could schedule it before my NTS expired. I was supposed to take it in May- but pushed it out to July thinking I’d get in all the study time I need. I have no good excuses.. things just got to be more than I could handle during June with work and personal life… (when I thought it was going to calm down a bit).

As of right now I only have in about 10 quality study hours, aside from listening to NINJA audio during my commute every day for the past couple weeks. I have 4 full days (no work) until the test and plan to study my butt off. At this point I know what my fate most likely is though, and I’m embarrassed… .

I prefer to not move on to another section until I’ve passed and my plan was to just reapply as soon as I take my exam, then reschedule again for end of Aug. WRONG! Just now remembered the rule that you can only take a section once per window. 🙁

Unless a miracle happens over the next 4 days and I pass on July 8th, I will have to push BEC out until beg of Oct. I’ve passed AUD so far, which expires in Aug 2014. (Not giving me much time for REG and FAR either, since I have to wait to take BEC again).

Should I just move on to REG and schedule it for the end of Aug? If not, that gives me only 3 testing windows to pass BEC, REG, and FAR… think this would be possible. My work schedule is now much more open since I move to a new position this month.. will be much less demanding, only 40 hours / week. (the past 3 months been averaging 60-70/week).

    ----------
    AUD - 74, 77! (1/2016)
    BEC - 80! (5/2016)
    REG - tbd (8/2016)
    FAR - tbd

    Study materials: NINJA MCQ/Audio/Notes

I would say move on to REG and study your butt off for the next 7 or so weeks before you take it. You might pull out a pass with BEC – who knows. But, it'd suck to waste the study time for 3 weeks or so till you get your score, only to have passed! And…if you don't pass, then it might still be good for a break with REG. Now, I've never been in that spot, as I'm just now studying for my 2nd and refuse to believe I'll fail till I get there (though it is far…so…), but my plan has been to never take the same one twice in a row, since you potentially waste the time waiting for the results. So if it was me, I'd take BEC, take a day or two off study, then make REG pay for your frustrations with BEC. 😛

Once you have a pass you should buckle down and test for 2 each window to make sure you don't loose your first pass.

    AUD - Jan 9,13 Pass
    REG - Aug 30,13 Pass
    BEC - Oct 26,13 Pass
    FAR - Dec 4,13 Pass

I'm not waiting on my score. my plan is to begin studying for my next Exam. I need the momentum, so if I wait all the things that will distract me will creep in and I know I will make excuses to get to it later. So no waiting for me. Moving on…..

eventually I'll pass one of these suckers.

    It begins with a 75
Been here too long as a cheerleader....ready to pass
