I was reading on a blog of a senior accountant the other day and he suggests taking fish oil and vitamin d supplements in order to reduce fatigue that one feels around 2pm everyday and also to improve memory. He seemed pretty convinced about it so I went out and got some myself.

Has anyone taken vitamins to improve energy levels or health before and felt better after taking them for a few weeks? These things are hard to measure because there are countless articles on the internet and I’m not sure if they actually work or if I’m just tossing money away to the vitamin industry

    @ Peanut

From what I heard, the Gingko chemical will crack some “young” cells in your brain so that you can remember more. But because of there're certain # of cells in your brain, you'll get alzheimer sooner when you're old. Please do your research though, don't rely on my words.

My suggestion, stay safe with multivitamin 😉

maybe it's a placebo effect — but i only slept 3-4 hours last night and today was my 2nd day taking the vitamin D and omega3 and i felt like superman at work today! no fatigue…but i did drink 2-3 cups of coffee, and i didn't eat much for lunch. so many factors can attribute to this though, including me oversleeping over the weekend so maybe the energy “carried” over from the weekend..who knows.

but i'll continue to take the vitamins and see how they hold up throughout the rest of the week (=
