    Just want to send good lucks to whom have to be seperated from their love ones to focus on study for CPA exam this weekend. It is hard to be in the relationship and study at the same time. However, when it is over, there is someone special waiting for you to celebrate the victory together. To whoever is still single, love will come sooner than you expect once you get this exam over with. Remember, follow your dream, love and $$ will follow, too!

    Good luck everyone!

    I put a little slash for every pomodoro I do. My goal is 15 slashes today! Which is close to 6 1/2 hours. I've got 5 slashes so far. AUD is going down!

    @KatieKanton @ Peanut…. I have heard a lot of people talking about it but have never really took the time out to research it. It's the 25 minutes of study then 5 minute break right?

    Yes! And you time it. I use my phone. You'd be amazed at how focused you are, and how much you can get done in 25 minutes. I have horrible ADD and this helps me a lot!

    Here's the link to the free download of the book on their website, if you have time to read it. It's a pdf. https://www.pomodorotechnique.com/book.html

    The short version is 25 mins work, 5 minutes break. When your mind wanders in that 25 minutes, you write down what you are thinking of doing (i.e. check a71, pay cell phone bill online, check email, make another pot of coffee, pee — just kidding, you shouldn't need to write that down) and then you take ONLY five minutes to do those things. Each set is one pomodoro. After four pomodoros, you take a 20-30 min break. It helps you focus yes, but there's also something magic about making your brain think about something else for 5 minutes that allows you to retain more and reorder it in your mind better. After you've used the technique a little bit, you no longer find your mind wandering in those 25 minutes, you're racing the clock to get as much done as possible.

    The words “paradigm shift” are thrown around a lot, but for me, it really is one. I've been meaning to find out who started it on here, because I'd like to thank them. It's literally like when I found out I was getting sick all the time because I wasn't getting any sun. Such an easy and simple solution to a problem that has plagued me my entire life.

    Ok, well KasiaS, if you come by here, if you'll email me (see my profile) an address, I'd like to thank you in a very small monetary way (i.e. Starbucks gift card). I would never send a stranger online my address, so if you'd like, send me a business address, a friend's address, a PO Box, etc. Or if anyone knows a way to send such a thing via email, that would work too.

    I only wear black underwears (I love Joe, Jr. in While You Were Sleeping) so I'm outta luck on the red revolution.

    @katie

    I love that movie! I always cry at the scene where she tries to marry the jerky brother. What she says to the family is so tender. (Oiy, getting old!!) Joe Jr. cracks me up!

    @MylifeisCPA–I couldn't agree more. I am at the library too, and feeling the same way. UGH. REG. Enough said?!

    @Peanut—Keep it up. I am struggling to find the umph on this one. Going to be a rocky ride.

    @Jomarie–How is BEC treating ya?

    ~~~
    I guess I will take katie's nod to the movies, here is my take on REG and the fact that I sit in a couple of days…….Violet Beauregard (Willy Wonka) , ” Is this a freak out?!!!”
    Good luck this weekend guys!
    Me too! One of my top 20 favorite movies. Have you ever noticed that in Peter's wallet and in his apartment, the only pictures he has are of himself? Subtle but hilarious.
