Using FAR to Study for AUD?

I am taking AUD on July 7th but I’m pretty much done with the chapters — just need to do a final review and take the mock exams. I’m scheduled to take FAR on August 5th so I need to start studying for before taking the AUD exam. Does anyone know of any chapters in FAR that that would potentially help me with AUD too? I’d rather study any FAR chapters now that would build on/relate to my Auditing knowledge.

    Thanks in advance!

I am also doing the same this. I tool audit and came up short by a couple of points ( Definitely was a sad day). My plan is to complete FAR and take audit. Based on my experience, yes it will help. Since Audit Sims are now requiring to do he entries which I was definitely rusty and have done any JE entries since my last semester of grad school. So definitely do FAR before Audit. You will understand the F/S throughout which will help you reinforce the risk and assertions for audit, and make things easier. Understanding JE is necessary for Audit Sims

    I agree w n_123.

Journal Entries will help when asked to explain changes in () ratio.

You also may need them if asked to correct a entry that you found OR explain how a correction given by the testmakers will affect accounts.
