    i recently began practicing sims.

when it comes to authoritative literature sims, i generally get very close to the correct answer.

i’ll get the literature code (AU, AT, PCAOB, etc…) correct, and the section correct, but the paragraph wrong. im still in the ball park with my answer, it’s just not the one that WTB was looking for.

any tips or technical advice (ie. using blocks of text from the question in the search bar) to improve my accuracy?

    also,

in scoring the sims, is partial credit awarded?

(for example, you get full credit for answering the literature, section, and paragraph correctly; lesser credit for answering just the literature and section correctly; and even lesser credit for only the literature)

Be sure to read the question and understand what they are asking. Also, a general familiarization with what is in the AL may help. Don't forget that on the actual exam, the search function is better. I've successfully used ” ” to search for specific phrases and it also has the ‘search within' function to help narrow things down.

As for scoring on the research question, no one really knows for sure. There's only speculation and opinions.
