Quick question to my fellow Ninja’s:

    My situation:

Half way there (Aud and Reg left)

Full time audit associate in public accounting (work 6 days a week for about 50-60 hours up until 3/21)

Do you think if I start studying for AUD (I have taken once before and failed) in the next week or so, I will have enough time to take it by early April? (I want to take REG before the end of the window).

    My plan:

    2/16-2/22-8 hours

    2/23-3/1-8 hours

    3/2-3/9-8 hours

    3/10-3/16-10 hours

    3/17-3/23-10 hours

    3/24-3/30-10 hours

3/31-4/5-30 hours (Off of work all week)

    EXAM 4/6

    Is approx 80 hours enough?

    Thanks

    BEC-84
    FAR-86
    AUD-87
    REG-79

80 hours should be enough for a retake IF you remember to treat the retake like you are studying for it the first time. Meaning, don't count your strong areas on your first take as areas you don't need to study. If you do that you run the risk of making those areas become weak ones. Also, you probably don't need to rewatch lectures unless there is an area you are just absolutely not getting, if then. As you go through studying again, things will at least be familiar enough that you aren't learning it from scratch, but you need to add in more time for really nailing any weak areas (from your retake studying, not from your score report). For my retake I focused on the test bank, the Ninja audio/notes, and only reread the book for areas I was a little fuzzy on. Adding the Ninja materials helped pull it all together and streamline my retake studying.

CPA Exam - Finally DONE (November 2014)
    BEC (08/10/13) 80
    AUD (08/24/13) 65 (11/13/13) 85
    FAR (04/12/14) 81
    REG (07/19/14) 69 (11/29/14) 87!!
