Has anyone ever had their exam rescheduled due to the testing center you were scheduled for getting permanently closed? Do you know if we have to re schedule in a certain amount of time or for a time close to the original date, like if I wanted to take it now on august 31, would I be able to? And is there a rescheduling fee now that my exam has been temporarily canceled?
I emailed Prometric help when I just found out about this a few hours ago, but since its the weekend, I do not expect to hear back until next week. Was hoping somewhere here had a few answers, or advice for my current situation…
I was scheduled to take Reg on july16th, and I am leaving the country for 2 weeks two days later. The only way for me to take the exam before i leave now is to take an earlier date than the 16th at a different center, and I truly feel that I need those 2 or 3 extra days. . Im finishing Reg now for the first time, and I was planning on getting about 50 hours in this next week to really review hard, I know someone may think that those extra days I planned on having wont make a huge difference, but in the past, my final review has really made certain concepts much more clear.
If i reschedule, I will have to re review once I get back, and will take the exam sometime at the end of august:( I really really do not want to even think about accounting when im away, and I know I will forget a decent amount…
I keep going back and forth on what to do because Reg has by far been the hardest section for me during the studying process. I feel like being forced to take the exam before I intended could cost me those few points and make the difference, but I was really looking forward to being completely done before my vacation.
Prometric really screwed me here. I know it wasnt intentional, but now they made this process more complicated than it already is. Grrr.
ANy input and answers to my original question is much appreciated. Thank you.
