My husband works at a small CPA firm where recently his boss just pass away. With the tax season is just around the corner, they need to bring someone with a CPA license to do the tax return for their clients. They got the idea to hire me as a seasonal tax preparer on a commission based since they have been looking around and no one wants to do it because of the liability clause.

I prepared tax to hundreds of clients for about 5 years when I worked at local CPA firm. I decided to work as a corporate accountant about 6 years ago but I still prepare tax on a side only to some really close friends and families. Having recently earned my CPA license, I want to take the offer but not sure how much commission should I charge per tax return that is reasonable to them and to me. I was wondering maybe someone in this forum can help me out?? Thanks….
