One of the worst things regarding CPA testing is sitting in the test room with someone who has a writing exam. I know some can just dismiss that most annoying noise, but I can’t; I really just want to walk over a crack that keyboard in half. Oh, and using those sad excuse for headphones just makes it worse.

Tapping is highly annoying but those soft ear plugs won't help you in the least if you have a farter in your midst!!!! I thought I was going to throw up under my desk for audit retake #3 because some jerk was peeling the paint off the walls with stench. I wouldn't wish the experience of spending 4 hours in an enclosed space with that guy on my worst enemy.

I hate my prometric with a passion and hopefully will never have to set foot in there again after 1/6!!!!

    REG: 75 DONE 🙂
    AUD: 61, 71, 68, 92 DONE 🙂
    BEC: 76 DONE 🙂
    FAR: 72, 74, 79 DONE 🙂

Hmmm I think in the survey that they make us do at the end, We should all say – “Please put some frebreeze automatic spray in all exam rooms to help with uncontrollable farting hazards” 🙂

Maybe if many people say it they might just listen to our peals ?

    FAR 05/27/14; 786/110 - Done !

Lol, that makes me laugh every time Mints! My first FAR attempt I was districted by every little noise and I was by the window all the way at the back/end of the room. This time I was in the spot, closest to the door but I was less annoyed by sounds. May have been that the procter wasn't as annoying? Or I just knew that he wasn't coming in JUST to look over MY shoulder. I seriously thought I was doing something wrong… I kept turning around to look at him… SMH.

I think I'm going to get some of those ear plugs though…

    FAR - 7/13 - 72, 11/13- 74, 2/14- 82!!! Best score ever (for me)!!!
BEC - 1/14 - 75!!! Perfect score! First Pass! YAY!!!
    AUD - 8/14 - 80!!!
    REG - 5/14 - 72, 10/14 - 66, 1/15 - 78 - DONE FOREVER!!!
I did 5 of the UNA and CPAExcel classes to earn units.

On the survey at the end about the facility, I made a note they should upgrade their keyboards.

I was taking AUD and we all know that you need to RTFQ, but holy macarol I had to re-read the first two testlets about a zillion times. The testing center I went to was pretty packed and it was 90% GRE people. I don't even think ear plugs would have helped me enough.

And if the clicking wasn't frustrating, the guy sitting next to me sounded like he was sighing after every question, haha.

    BEC - 80
    AUD - 64, 75 - credit lost, 90!!
    REG - 73, 74, 83
    FAR - 61, 72, 85

Feels good finishing on my best note. Time to watch the mailbox.

I can't say I have had the experiences as the rest of yall, but something that helps me is turning on the fan at my testing desk. The fan provides some white noise that makes it easy to concentrate for me.

    FAR - 84
    AUD - 74 (b00), 82
    BEC - 82
    REG - Aug 25 2014
