jrd56202MemberJust got my Reg score today and another 72. Feeling so low right now and angry. It makes me want to kick my audit retakes butt next Thursday. I only gave myself 2 weeks to prepare for it and praying that will be enough. Hopefully feeling this angry can help channel it into studying my ass off this next week.

jrd56202MemberI wanted to get it in before next window just incase I do happen to fail and since we find out our scores so early in September I would have plenty of time to study and retake it. I'm feeling fairly confident because most of my MCQ scores have been in the upper 70s and 80s on my HW and practice exams. Plus I start my job in September and would really like to have at least 1 test under my belt.

krokofilenMember2 weeks is plenty of time for AUD. In the end, it is not about how many hours you spend preparing – it is all about how efficient you are in preparing, and being in the right “state of mind”. What you need is a strong self confidence, a GO mentality, and an absolutely maximized number of MCQs behind you. You seem to be in the right mood, just make sure you don't loose that – go in there fed up with this sh*t and kill that exam! Unlike Mia above, I would not necessarily spend more hours preparing for my retake, in fact, I would assume I did learn some stuff the first round and also consider the fact that the first exam experience can take a few points off too, and that each AUD exam is not the same in terms of difficulty. So make sure you spend the last days on doing plenty of MCQs, and repeating your weak areas over and over again until they're your strong ones. I remember I did up to 500 AUD NINJA MCQs in one day – I don't recommend it becouse it took me many hours and I was exhausted afterwards, but you should at least be able to do 250 a day. Do that for 3-4 days and you chances will be pretty good, if you have somewhat of a foundation to build on to. And, again, whatever areas you find difficult, make sure you review your notes or the chapters in the book as much as time allows.

jrd56202Member@krokofilen thanks for that boost! My last exam I did not even use the AL for sims besides the research because I didn't really realize I could. I'm hoping this time around that will help me out a little bit. I was weak in sims and I scored a 71 on the exam. I also had graduation and a big trip I was leaving for the next day after my exam, so my mind was not really ready for the exam. Too many other things going on.

KimboroniMemberThat's great that you're getting good scores, and you still have a whole week left to study! Good focus on exam day counts for a lot, also.
Don't burn yourself out the last couple of days– that's when I stop doing MCQs (or at least stop looking at the scores) and just review material, rewrite the things that I'm having trouble remembering, listen to Ninja Audio, do flashcards, etc. More low key, but still keeping the material fresh.
I don't think you failed all the sections. The online program failed you by making you set up an exam schedule before you were able to hit your stride with the first one. Just refresh, reboot, and figure out how to get one under your belt before you tackle the next one. Go kill AUD!

jrd56202MemberYeah I honestly think if I could get that first one under my belt I could go on a roll. I feel as though a big part of the exam is simply confidence. I have had absolutely 0 confidence going into any of the exams I have taken. I am changing that starting next Thursday!

jrd56202MemberAudit is a short review and I've read many posting where people have passes in 2 weeks. I'm actually putting in hours these two weeks compared to the last time I studied a month and waited until the end to cram it all in. I know the basics, just need to brush up on a few things. Especially using AL for sims.

Jspann225MemberIt doesn't take a lot of time to study for audit. If you are dedicated and work weekends you can make your first pass through of the material in 1 week and use the second week for review. I know several people who pass the exam in that amount of time. A lot of them actually said it helped them, because they only had to retain the information for a short period of time. I took AUD in 3 weeks. I had two weeks for review, but I think it is possible in 2. Plus, you have nothing at all to lose by taking it at the end of this test window.
Good luck JRD, you got this.

jrd56202Member@Jspann thanks for the vote of confidence! Part of the reason I wanted to rush and take it this window is so if I do happen to fail again I can stay on course and just take it beginning of next window. No, I don't want to throw $250 down the drain, but there is a def a chance I could pass it this time.
