I’m studying the CPA exam with Yaeger and throughout a few lectures, they specifically mention that “we are here to teach you enough to pass the exam, not get the highest score”

I’m trying to read the book and go along with the lectures. Should I only read the parts they mention, or should try to read stuff that they didn’t mention or skipped over during their lectures?

I have Yeager and I finished the lectures and now I'm reading the book over the next 2 days. I think it's a good thing just because the more you see it the more you will memorize it. Of course, after this I will be rewriting the notes and then doing non stop mcq's.

Also, I would say I'm not reading every single word. I hit the main points, examples, and other things mentioned in the lectures.
