Studying plateaus

I was curious if anyone else experiences “hitting the wall” when studying? As, if you were to continue to study, you wouldn’t be helping yourself because you’re not retaining anything anymore. I’ve found that at about 3 and a half hours, my brain is fried – especially after a day at work. On weekends, I strive to do more but not successfully.

It’s funny, but when I was trying to describe this, I kept picturing the law of diminishing marginal utility graph from BEC.

Try studying in shorter increments. I only study for an hour to an hour and a half before I take a 15-30 minute break. It helps prevent fatigue and make your studying more effective.

I usually go for a walk under the sun after 2 hours of torture, then I go back and hit it again

You need to do it, especially for F2.

But to OP, yes def. Your brain can only focus for so long.
