    My test is on July 11th (exactly a week after the 4th of July) so of course, I’ll be studying. Anyone else doing the same? I am super bummed about it. I originally wanted to take my test on the 3rd but couldn’t get myself to focus the week I was supposed to start studying before scores came out, so now I’m paying for it. My plan is to put the Wiley Test Bank app on my iPad and do IT questions while I’m on the boat out on the lake (because those ones won’t require bringing a pencil, paper, and calculator) and then getting up early on Friday to get in a couple hours of practice tests. Ugh, the life of a CPA exam candidate!

    Ill be sitting in the library cracking down on Audit that week, staying in until night and maybe getting to see some fireworks if I'm lucky. My friends have been doing a fourth party at a lake for the last 6 years, this will be the first time I miss out.

    I never really celebrate holidays anyway, so at least this year I'll have a good excuse.

    After bombing FAR today, I've decided I need to fully commit, no holds barred.

    Bring on the holidays! I'll study through them with a smile!

    @yawn I agree. I accidentally double posted a thread just now… oops.

    Fourth of July weekend wasn't all too much fun for me. Its no big loss on my end. I do miss the fireworks like most people here.

    Since the 4th of July is a Friday..I will study most of the day. However, I will BBQ and host a movie on Saturday. I am thinking to get up Saturday 5am and study for 4 hours to not feel guilty;-) Unfortunately, I have a 8 years old and I refuse to reserve all 7 days to studying. Hoping the 2nd time is a charm and finish within the 4hrs.
