I just finished FAR after studying for 7 weeks using CPAexcel. I’m busy with grad school this semester, so I want to study for AUD over my 4 weeks of break in between semesters starting December 15. I’d take the exam during the first week of January.

Is 4 weeks enough time for AUD? I’m taking an advanced auditing course right now, hopefully it will help prepare me at least a little bit. I’m just worried that 4 weeks won’t be long enough to begin with and that studying during the holidays will make it tougher.

I did it after studying for like 19 or 20 days (took a few days off after FAR). If you aren't working and just treat it like a full time job, you could definitely do it.

For sure. Especially if you're studying fresh out of an auditing course.

I studied for about three and a half weeks and did fine.

FAR: May 1st, 2014 - 91
AUD: May 29th, 2014 - 97!

There are posters here who studied for Audit full-time for like a week or a week and a half and passed. Audit is a huge toss up though. Some swear it is the easiest exam because it follows their review material very closely. Others (like myself) thought it was very hard because there were A LOT of MC questions that were not covered by the review material. Sort of luck of the draw I suppose.

4 weeks to study for it is plenty. I can't imagine you needing more time if you apply yourself the way you should. I only studied for it for 4 weeks, while working full time, and got a 93.

I will add that a lot of people who squeaked by with minimal studying were using Becker.
