I’m excited that christmas and news years and all that jazz is coming but this is gonna be a definite speed bump in my studies!! All my family will be coming home soon and not leave for like 2 weeks! Anyone else a bit worried about this? I mean i do have a bunch of days off from work maybe I can wake up study from like 8 to 1 and then spend the day with family and friends I just know there will always be a distraction going on in my house.

What is everyone’s study plans for the holidays?

    Happy holidays everyone

Off topic, does anyone have any gift ideas for family you can buy online like amazon or something? I got my mom an hour massage I saw on groupon for $30 which I think is a nice gift, but idk what else to buy. Holiday shopping and studying does not mix!

Your family isn't taking this test for you. No reason to not ignore them and study as much as you can. You want something, take it.

You either pay now, or pay later. I'd rather suffer now and pass the exam than spend more time with people, fail the exam, and have to re-take it.

ymmit Ipads and ipods, xbox 1, playstation 4 are good expensive presents. Who you shopping for?

I got myself a leap chair for comfortable studying. I am hoping to get a nicer lamp and warm clothing:)

I spoke to an ancient wise man who sent me on a mushroom induced journey through an ancient forest to find the key to passing the CPA exam. A talking spider monkey told me to throw the last of my drinking water in the dirt to find what I was looking for. So I followed his instructions and the following message appeared in the soil:

"Do 5000 multiple choice questions for each section"

No study vacations for me. I'm committed with this and since my family is not local, is easier to commit to study in these days, that are like gold because I don't work for plenty of days and is when I will take advantage for review and put the most of my studies.

Next year will be completely different!!!!!! That is my hope hahaha, that's why I'm killing myself now!

    Happy holidays!!

I'm taking a break Christmas Eve and Christmas Day from studies as there is just too much to pack into it to really get any quality study time. I might review some flashcards on my phone or something but that's about it.

Family is important and you should invest in those relationships as much as possible.

New year's eve I will work and put in some time after work like usual and New year's Day a full day of getting caught up.
