Hi all,
I’m sure this topic has been covered extensively over several threads but I am simply too lazy and busy to go back through and look. I have recently just finished my master’s degree and will now join you all the pursuit of the coveted CPA. I was awarded a scholarship for the Becker materials, excusing me from having to choose between materials. The first thing I did with my materials was fill out a brief survey answering questions about how long I have to study each day. The software then spit out a schedule for me, showing I should be ready to sit for the FAR exam after 6 weeks of study. BTW I entered in approximately 3-4 hours of available study time. I spent the first three days of this week on F-1 and have now turned my attention to F-2. My question to all of you is is this an adequate amount of preparation time? I realize everyone is different but I am looking for a GR here. F-2 seems to be throwing a ton of different concepts at me all at once, and I have yet to get through the lectures. I’m doing the self study route, so I am trying my best to stay up with the schedule. Also, what do you guys feel is more beneficial? Do you read the material first, watch the videos, then practice the problems? For F-1, I watched the video, then went back and read the material before doing problems. Thank you in advance for any assistance.
