    Study Schedule-

    Mon:Fri 6:30 pm-11pm

    Sat-Sun: 15-20 hardcore studying hours

    Time to prepare:

    FAR: 3 months

    AUD: 8 weeks

    BEC: 4 weeks

    REG: 2 months

I'm not motivated, but I have nothing better to do..hahaha..and I want to be rich..$$$$$$..money is a crime..

Study Method: Read each section 7+times, practice MCQs 10X

I use CPAExcel because it's the cheapest one with free updates…I also plan on using CPAREVIEWFORFREE for IFRS and GNFP.

I take 6-7 weeks per section and study 3-6 hours Mon-Fri (as work/time permits) and about 6 hrs each on Sat & Sun.

The CPA review I swear by is NIU Correspondence CPA Review (cpareview.niu.edu). I passed FAR & BEC on first attempt without killing myself or losing too much of my sanity.

    FAR 88 (07/15/11)
    BEC 83 (08/31/11)
    AUD 81 (10/15/11)
    REG 83 (11/26/11)

    Used NIU Correspondence CPA Review

What is your study schedule like when preparing for a section?

weekdays: go to gym at 5am, skim notes while doing cardio (about 30 min)

study for 1-2 hrs before work

if possible study a little at work

come home from work, eat and take 1 hr nap

    study 2-3 hrs at night

drink couple beers while watching tv for an hr

    go to sleep

    weekends: 3-4 hrs each day

how much time do you give yourself to prepare?

    1 section per window

How do you stay motivated to continue studying day in and day out?

forgot where i read this but have some sort of routine that involves studying. i do the same thing day in and day out so much to the point where i know what i will be doing at any minute of the day. studying has to be a part of your life, just like you have to eat lunch at 12 every afternoon, you have to study at 8 every night. its never “oh man, i have to study”…its more like “its 8 o clock, time to study”.

    what is your study method?

lecture, take notes…read chpt, take notes…mcq, take notes…sims, take notes…rewrite notes by hand…take practice final exams

Which material do you use and why?

yaeger homestudy b/c i tried both becker homestudy and becker live and couldn't pass, i do supplement with becker tho

    REG-65,71,74,73,70,74,79
    BEC-60's,60's,69,71,76*,78
    FAR-67,66,65,79
    AUD-54,60's,65,83*,69,80
    *expired

    DONE

Each test I did the same thing, 5 weeks study time. I would try to study 20 hours per week.
