How do you all come with 20 hours per week to study?

It could go either way with REG. The MCQ felt okay, but the SIMS were brutal and the AL was no help to me on REG like it was on AUD. We'll see very soon. Good luck with your next exam!

I'm preparing for FAR Round 2. I'm trying to redo ALL the HW and Sims in Becker but not sure if this a good method or best use of my time. I am getting really exhausted/loosing focus trying to do each section within two days. I'm already behind by 4 days (should be on F6 but just 30% done F4).

Should I keep going on with this method or change up it to just review my all my notes and FCs for each section and just do like a 100 MCQs for that section and 1 Sim? I also have bought the Ninja MCQs and haven't touched them yet, I am saving them for the last part of my final review.

HWs in Becker I feel are really detailed and try to teach you how to tackle a topic from multiple angles. Feels like the right approach for the first time but for a retake it might be overkill? I don't want to cut corners but I need to make the best use of my time. Any thoughts/feedback?

What I did with FAR was go through a section of the Ninja Notes, then answer all the MCQ in the WTB that pertained to that section. I took additional notes on those that I guessed on or got wrong. I found that going through the same section over and over and over again through all the MCQ really helped me nail down the concepts. Then I moved to the next section and repeated the process. When I got to the third section I took a short quiz from sections 1 and 2 to keep it fresh, the proceeded to work section 3. With each additional section I did a short quiz on ALL prior sections before I started the next section. Two weeks before I took the test I took a practice exam and then focused on my problem areas (while taking a couple refresher quizzes on the other sections, here and there) until a couple of days before the exam. Then I reread through each section of notes and took a quiz on that section and went through all sections one at a time two days before the test. The day before the test I just read through all my notes. I went through all the SIMS too whenever I was burnt out on MCQs. I didn't know every concept 100% going into the exam and of course my first question and one SIM was on my worst topic so I strongly suggest you focus on the topics that are your weakest.

So u think I should ditch Becker and use the ninja notes and MCQs? Also are the WTB MCQs the same as ninja MCQs that I got with the 10 point package?

I think I will switch to doing FCs and notes. As do progress test in Becker software to go they the material. The once I get all those done switch to ninja notes and MCQs I just bought for the last 2 weeks.

Is jumping from Becker to Wiley a big change? Recommended?

Personally, I think Becker is more than enough to prepare you. Throwing in some NINJA stuff might help if you want more material.

At any rate, I study somewhere between 4-5 hours a day and then take one day off in the week when I just don't feel like studying.

I really can't say if you should ditch Becker. I've never used Becker, except for Outline Notes for FAR. Wiley and Ninja are two difference test banks. Wiley and CPAExcel merged and created a new format for their test bank that I didn't see good reviews on. I personally liked the old version of Wiley and I like Ninja better than that. My advice is to use the Ninja MCQ. There are thousands of MCQ and a lot of SIMS. It's good stuff IMO.

I took off work and do 10 hours a day so about 70 hours a week, for both AUD and FAR. For AUD I spent in total 130 hours, which was too much since I have experience, and for FAR I hope to spend around 200 hours so about 3 weeks.

    AUD - 95 / Jul 15 / 130h over 4 weeks
