Let us join and study for the CPA common goal. How many hours are you going to study this week? I am planning to study at least 4 hours per day and complete 20 hours for this week.

Anyway, while I am stumbling through the FAR…oh …the Intercompany transactions are the beast. Not much explanations for this part in the becker book and the questions with depreciation were hard to do…did anyone feel this way about this part? or may be I am the one feel this way?

    Thanks and good Luck.

Not so much of an “hours” guy as I am “get these things accomplished this week” kind of guy.

That said, this week my sched is:

    1) Finish BEC3 video / notes in book / notecards

    2) Read BEC3

    3) BEC3 HW

    4) Watch BEC4 / notes in book / notecards

    5) Read BEC4

    6) BEC4 HW

    7) Review Quizzes, time permitting

My goal is to start it finally!! Took AUD on Tuesday (Oct 19th) last week and then my laptop crashed Tuesday night (actually couldn't time that any better), I finally got a new laptop on Saturday.

So far I have watched the first video of Yaeger. 1 hour down, 50 hours of videos to go.

Great thread, as I will be a weekly contributor to this, I need the structure. Like heatmiser, I'm more of a results guy myself. My plan is to get through Mod 9 in Wiley by Wednesday afternoon and Mod 10 by the weekend. Probably 40~50 hours this week.

Ok, gonna disconnect my internet now, shut up, and get cracking…less talking more doing 🙂

    BEC - 77 (exp. 2/23/12)
    REG - 75
    AUD - 74
    FAR - 11/29/11

Macc maybe we can motivate each other. I am scheduled to take FAR on 11/28 and I am one video into yaeger as well! However I couldn't do 40-50 hours a week with my work load.

My goal is 10 hours a day until my rematch October 31st, FAR is going down! Never want to study for this again! Will say I feel like I am in much better shape than I was when I took it in July. 3 exams in 1 window just might kill me, but I just might be a CPA by Christmas… we shall see (still feel crappy about AUD) Even going through FAR… I still stand solid by my opinion, that REG material is much much more difficult than the FAR material!

    AUD 81 (X4) Previous scores 59, 72, 72
    REG 80 (X3) Previous scores 59, 60
    FAR 75 (X2) Previous score 67
    BEC 79 (X2) Previous score 58

    @ Peanut

Awesome!!! I wish I could do ten hours. Cue a 1 week business trip for my hubby please!!! It makes it so much easier to study when he is out.

I am going for 5 each day, but really hoping I can do 7. REG is a pain in the @ss. I did a Becker final exam–I know, don't even say it—and got my butt kicked . What a confidence killer. Today I am working on a new Wiley Review book, with update AICPA questions. It is pretty hard, but I am liking that I am seeing questions I hadn't seen. So, hopefully that will help.

Keep up the great work—as Peter Olinto says, ” you're on your way to a CPA baby!”

Pro: My buddy's bachelor party is this weekend, so I'll be spending 4 days play golf and acting like a mild mannered human being.

Con: I take FAR on Nov. 12, and studying does not fall in the “play golf” category or “mild mannered human being” category.
