I have taken FAR before and failed as well as Audit. Planning to take either FAR or REG next. I know both of those require a lot of time and are lengthy and hard, however, I know that I should have the time to do it. My question is which one should I do 1st retake FAR which I took about at least 6 months ago or take on REG. Also, with working full time and being a mom of 2 how does one find time to study? About how much should I plan to dedicate per weekday and per weekend? Also are there known changes in FAR to 2012 material? thanks to all in advance!

mad710, which one do you think would be harder? IMO it's best to get the hardest one done first to start the 18 month

clock running. FAR certainly has more material than any of them.

As to how much time to spend: that's a very individual choice. You spend as much as you can. I don't have young

kids at home but I work long hours and during the week days hardly studied because I was just too tired. I

took the Becker live classes on weekends. I left 4-6 weeks after the end of each class to continue studying, and

studied mainly on weekends. I did not go to any family functions or really have any social life during the time I

studied. My husband is a CPA so fortunately he understood and was supportive.

Getting through those exams was the hardest thing I've ever done.

It's very tough but you can do it. Best of luck to you.
