Rocky123MemberSounds like you are taking on too much. Can you space them out? Take one of them in January?

DanimeMemberI feel like I'm in the same boat as you, I am taking REG (tomorrow) and then BEC (11/10). It sucks and I definitely have felt like you do now, I just keep telling myself I don't want to drag this out into next year, I want to be able to enjoy the holidays and ever think about this exam again lol
You were able to do it for the AUD and REG you'll be able to get through it now too!
FAR 5/31/14 - 86
AUD 7/28/14 - 94
REG 10/1/14 - 89
BEC 11/10/14 - 88October 6, 2014 at 7:24 pm #612043
Charell__Memberlmorgan0788 I feel the same way! I have FAR scheduled for Oct 20th and I'm hoping to do REG by Nov 25 or 26th. FAR is so much boringness in one package .. I know that's not a word, but you feel my pain. I am thinking of switching FAR and REG since I actually like tax and know I can plow through the material. The best advice I can give you is to just push through! Just get it over with since they will expire. I take a break from actually studying by using the ninja audio. This way even if I didn't work any questions or touch the book, at least I'm still keeping the info fresh in my mind.

AnonymousInactiveTake some solace that you are doing well on your exams (two up and two down, well done).
It's not the end of the world if you don't pass them all in four months. You would be an exception to the rule if you set that kind of expectation and then aced all four sections.
If nothing else, go to the exam and do your best. Though you're supposed to forget about what you saw in the exam, take mental notes on what you need to focus on IF you have to study again.
You're doing quite well….be proud of that.

y_u_no_passParticipantI have practically the exact same situation as you and totally agree. I had to push back FAR and am still really struggling to motivate myself. Halfway feels like the worst. And FAR is really dense. It takes so long to study because it is all problems.

Peach1024MemberI know how you feel! I'm also scheduled to take FAR on 10/20 (it seems like a lot of us are, actually) and I'm just starting on Chapter 6. I work full time and it's busy right now because of the 10/15 1040 deadline and also quarterly payroll tax returns, so I really don't know where I'm going to find the time to study. I don't have the option of pushing the test back because my NTS expires soon.
The only thing I can say is that attitude sometimes plays a big part in all of this. Like right now, I'm in the middle of a progress test for F1 – F5 and I totally forgot how to do business consolidation stuff from F3, so I'm bummed out and wasting time on here instead of just pushing through that fact, finishing the progress test, and then telling myself it's not the end of the world. Sometimes you just have to believe in yourself that you're going to rock this test and get it done no matter what, and worrying and stressing over it in the meantime is just going to distract you from the ultimate goal of passing.
And with that, I'm back to my progress test! lol :-/

AnonymousInactiveI'm only on my second exam and I am burned out. I just know that the sooner I get these tests out of the way, the more spare time I will have in the future!

AnonymousInactive@danime I just took REG today. If you have been doing a ton of MCQS the first three testlets should be no problem. The simulations on the other hand WT*!!!!! 5/6 were so off the wall. I am praying for a passing grade!! Good luck to you

DanimeMember@bcarreto5 thanks! Im sure you did better than you think! I have been doing mc like crazy I've been using becker, which is what I used for the last two. I'm burnt out at this point I can't do anything else. I've been hearing that about the Sims so annoying, truly is a crap shoot! What study program did you use?

KimboroniMemberlmorgan, If you really need more time for FAR, then why not reschedule to give yourself more time, and take BEC later. I understand you've already paid for them, but if you're trying to fit in both of them in the 6 months, and then end up failing both because you didn't have enough time, then you have to pay the fees again on both anyway. If you give yourself more time for FAR and then pass it because you had enough time to prepare, you're only paying the BEC fee again. It saves money in the long run. Easing off just a bit could really help solve the burnout problem also.
But I think everyone feels like they need more time for FAR. If you've put the work in and aren't behind/won't be behind schedule on 10/21, then you should be just as ready as anyone is for FAR and should go ahead and take it on schedule.
On personal burnout, I ended up with an extra 10 days or so with FAR due to technical problems at my test center on my scheduled test day, and I was so burnt out already that I did not use my extra time to its fullest. But I enthusiastically jumped into REG material the day I actually took FAR. Hopefully you will get some new life breathed into your studying when you start the BEC material. It really did help with the burnout, even though I studied for about 16 weeks straight going right from FAR to REG.
Try working out or just being crazy to music (or maybe a punching bag?) to see if that relieves some stress. Home stretch. You've got this.
AUD 84 (1/9/14-Wiley books/TB + free materials)
FAR 83 (5/21/14-the above + NINJA 10 Pt Combo Lite)
REG 84 (7/9/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC/Notes)
BEC 76 (10/5/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC)Disclaimer: My ninja avatar is not meant to imply that I have any affiliation with this site other than being a forum member. That's a pic of a T-shirt that my daughter gave me for my birthday. 🙂

SkynetParticipantSince I'm not working at the moment, I have all the free time in the world. I study between 6-8 hours each day for two sections. There are times where it feels like my head is about to explode, but I just can't stop no matter what. It costs money for retakes and the goal is to pass. I don't want to make it a habit of going to Prometric so often that they know me on a first name basis.

JuliemiddleMemberOK, weird… I'm taking FAR on Oct. 20th…along with everyone else, it sounds like. I think the burnout is definitely b/c of FAR. This is my last exam, and I haven't struggled this much with any of the other exams. It's so much frickin' material. 2 weeks doesn't feel like enough time, but then again, I feel like it can't come soon enough.
AUD: 84 - Oct. 2013
BEC: 83 - Feb. 2014
REG: 91 - May, 2014
FAR: 68, 96 - Oct. 2014...DONECPAExcel, Ninja Audio (all sections)
