Already 1 week into AUD, but what if I get a failing grade for an exam taken within 15 days ago? Do you stop AUD and pick back up the failed exam, or continue onto the next exam?

    CPA EXAM: DONE!!!!
    Ethics Course: Passed
    Application Mailed: 3/16/15
    Professional Conduct Exam: 97
    Certification Date: 4/2/15!!!

@san4596….. I say move on to the next one. Then come back to the one failed with a fresh perspective, others may disagree. I really think it depends upon you and how comfortable you were with the material on the failed exam. If you find yourself on auto pilot not really absorbing the material, perhaps focusing on a new section will help you regain focus. Good Luck!

    AUD- 84
    FAR- 75
    REG- 78...I am DONE!!!
    BEC- 79

I agree with Skrier. I moved on to BEC after I took Audit, even though I was unsure about my grade. By the time I found out that I did not pass Audit, I was halfway through BEC and grateful to have other material to focus on instead of beating myself up over my failure. I passed BEC, and went back to Audit with a fresh approach. Good luck!

I failed FAR but went on to AUD while I was waiting for my score. I continued AUD and I think I passed it but won't know for sure until next week. Having studied FAR made my AUD preparation much easier. I did, however, intentionally plan to take AUD as my second test because it has a lot in common with FAR.

Now I am moving back to FAR studying and it is very familiar material.

The benefit of starting with and failing FAR is that my clock hasn't started ticking yet until I pass my first exam. I am hopeful that I will be able to complete my FAR retake in short order after I just completed AUD. I guess there are some benefits to failing FAR as the first exam and following it up with a more managable exam.
