Stay up late studying vs. good night's sleep

In your experience, has staying up late studying allowed for you to do better on the exam than getting a decent night’s sleep, or vice versa?

I still have a lot of material to go over. I can either aim to get about 6-7 hours of sleep (exam’s at 9:30am), or study more until I feel that the cost outweighs the benefit (getting too tired to focus) and go to sleep then.

I studied (taking final practice tests) until 1am last night and got up at 6:30 this morning and drove to the test center. I don't think I gained anything by studying that late last night from today's test. the point is that you can't predict what the exam is going to test you. you might be lucky that you might just go over something tonight you will be tested tomorrow…who knows, but I suggest to get enough rest and sleep first…at this point, it's kinda too late to study anything to make a big difference…just my two cents.

    Thanks, everyone!

I'm just going to go over one more area to refresh my memory and take a shower and then go to sleep. Oh yeah, I think I'll eat supper, too 🙂

    Good luck tomorrow!

(and good luck to anyone else testing tomorrow!)
