    Hello Everyone!

I am graduating in May from my undergraduate and am going to be interning this summer with a Big 4 Accounting firm in Washington. I am continuing in my Master’s next year, but not in Accounting. I am hoping to start studying for my CPA and taking Becker classes (1 this summer and 3 in the following months).

I was never the best accounting student, but have always enjoyed the studies, and I am more into my other major and masters discipline of Management Information Systems. As I begin to study for the CPA, I almost worry that taking my Intermediate Financial Accounting classes in the Summer of 2012 will cause struggles for me as I study for FAR.

My question I have is what experiences other people who were not the best accounting students, and are farther removed from financial accounting classes had when going through studying/Becker materials.

Thank you and I look forward to getting to know you all on this forum!

I have seen many posts on here from people 10+ years removed from school that did fine on the tests using Becker. I don't know what kind of students they were when they took their accounting classes, but a lot of them had full time jobs, spouses, and kids. If you put in the effort and follow Becker's plan you should do fine on the exam.
