Starting CPA during Busy Season

Currently, I’m basically a full time tax intern and I’m in my last semester of MAcc (taking 12 hours — 3 are night classes). I was thinking about taking one part of the CPA before the June blackout because I really want to get the CPA over with before I start FT in the fall.

    1. Given my situation, is it a good idea to try to study for and take one part of the exam in either April or May?

    2. If so, which section should I take??

@Zaya definitely a good idea to get an early start on this process. I have only taken FAR and AUD (2x ugh) but I would suggest maybe take REG since you're engrained in tax season? I took FAR first because I thought it would be the hardest one, and it has been the only one I've passed so far (unless a miracle happens next week on score release). Good luck to you and definitely stick around, there are many smart people on this forum 😉
