Took BEC last Friday and won’t get my score until the 18th. I’m super slow at work and could start studying for REG with the hopes of getting it out of the way before tax season starts. Should I just assume (pray) that I passed BEC and start studying? Or wait for my BEC score and retake it if necessary while it is still fresh in my mind. My gut is telling me I passed BEC but who knows.

FWIW my gut told me I failed FAR and I failed and my gut told me I passed AUD and I passed.

    FAR - 70, 81
    AUD - 83
    BEC - 77
    REG - 70, 78

    Licensed in Ohio.

Now what the hell do I do?

It sounds like you have a pretty reliable gut and should start studying for REG!

Plus, given you mentioned Tax season you likely do tax work so hopefully you will have some carryover in regard to the tax portion of REG that will make it go a little easier.

    FAR - 90
    REG - 90
    BEC - 91
    AUD - 99

Let me ask you this: When do plan on taking REG? If it's early January then I would just study for that now and keep moving forward with it regardless of your BEC score (since January is so close). Then you can jump right back on BEC and take it at the end of January.

I'm in similar situation. Took FAR at end of November..super slow at work. So I started studying for REG, if for nothing else, to get my mind off of score release tomorrow. I am 2 chapters in on REG, if I failed FAR, I'll jump back in, if not I can take REG in early Jan.

^^ what Brooks said. That's my plan lol

i always take a mental break while i wait for my scores.. i want to have a life so bad that i can't even think about moving on to study something else while I'm waiting.

    I have a personal policy-

no studying while I'm waiting for a score.

It's the only reason I've managed to stay sane after taking 6 tests in 6 months through busy season.
