Since you all are the only people I know studying, how much are you really studying. Not what you “tell people” but what you do in reality, lol *raises hand of being guilty of this, which explains my scores below*. I will start. I wake up at 4:30am and study to 6:00am-that’s my hour and a half and I study about a half-hour to a hour before bed (which is a struggle being a single mom of 3). On the weekends I do well, I study 8 hours -4 hours Saturday & 4 hours Sunday. So I average about 18-19 hours per week. With that being said, are my hours comparable to yours?

    BEC 61
    AUD 66,70
    REG 67,68,67,68
    FAR TBD
Using CPA Excel and Wiley Test Bank

@mgoloubenko… For AUD and BEC I studied for 3 and a half weeks each, FAR I'm studying for about 6 and a half weeks and REG I plan on studying for 5 weeks.

    BEC - Feb 2012: 80
    AUD - Feb 2012: 84
    FAR - Apr 2012: 78
    REG - May 2012: 90

    Thanks Becker!

I walked out of FAR on 2/28 knowing that I did not pass. I started studying for FAR and REG on 2/29 knowing that I would have to take them both in two days. Unfortunately, I couldn't schedule them both in two days. I had to schedule them both on the same day. Since 2/29 I have worked 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, listening to Jeff's REG audio lectures on my iPod since he released them, all day long. I can recite them almost word for word! I bought the Yaeger audios for REG because I was afraid Jeff wouldn't get the B-Law part finished in time and I WASTED $125. Don't get me wrong, Yaeger, or rather Cindy Simpson, got me through BEC, but I could not listen to Phil another minute! If that is an audio cram then I am a speckled yankee. (No offense intended to my northern friends, but if you could hear me talk you would know I am southern through and through). When I get off work at 5pm, I come straight home, fix supper, usually a sandwich, and start studying. I work problems, re-write notes, and read until midnight. I haven't slept in the bed for nearly a month. By midnight I'm so tired I sleep in the recliner. Normally I fall asleep reading on my Kindle. Thank God that thing has an alarm clock app. On Saturday and Sunday I start studying, working problems, writing notes, and reading when I wake up around 8am. I quit around midnight. After 27 days of this I am exhausted but my scores are coming up. I have high hopes for getting my FAR credit back. REG is another story. I work problems and then go over every question, right or wrong. If I know and understand why I got it right or why I got it wrong then it's ok to move on. My REG scores are still low compared to FAR. I have 6 more days of this with a weekend in the middle. I'm hoping to get scores on both exams consistently in the 90's on the Wiley Test Bank. I'm close but not quite there yet. I have a 4 hour drive ahead of me so I know I can listen to most of Jeff's audio before I get to Houston. I don't know if there is anything else I can do at this point.

I have said this before and I'll say it again. When you think you are sick of studying and you get “unmotivated” then just look for one of my posts, look at the scores in my signature and tell yourself “I WILL NEVER BE LIKE THAT CRAZY WOMAN”! Print it out and put it everywhere to remind you to study your butt off!

@mg – almost all of my in-laws went to SC, so I am by default a Trojan fan. I'm down here in orange county, not too far from you. I know you are from Kiev because I have magical powers (that and it's on your FB page). 😉

@kriket, you are my hero. I am wishing to best on your exams!!!

    @ Sunny,

I study around 20 hours per week: 3 hours Monday – Thursday, 4-6 hours Saturday and 2-4 hours Sunday. I have the most difficulty studying during the weekends; I leave the guys at home and go to the library. If I feel that I am not concentrating while studying, I just close the books, and come back later. Spinning your wheels while you are not concentrating is worthless.

    Done 😉
