I'm not dating at all during this process. I've been asked out, but I just don't have time for that right now. I'm taking REG at the end of November, and hopefully AUD in early January….Then I plan to have fun!
It's hard enough just maintaining friendships…I can't imagine it being a spouse.
Not sure if I still get to post here since I'm single, but no longer studying (thank God). Anyway, would someone please tell me why it is that all of the single men 40 and over seem to have drug or alcohol problems and/or serious mental health issues? Is this what I get to choose from? If so, I prefer to remain single forever. I mean seriously, can you not get it together by 40 (or 50)? For crying out loud. Rawrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I'm glad I didn't have a girlfriend to distract me with drama or whatnot while studying. However, I could have used one's help with some home-cooked meals, encouragement, a back massage and a “stress reliever” once in a awhile. I'd agree with Olinto on this one too.
I'm so sad I missed your posts… time has gotten away from me. Some of us are still trying to pass this beast. 🙂 Sounds like your enjoying your life after the test! That's fantastic to hear! I'm sorry the relationship status hasn't changed and the men are… well…. special.
Things aren't much better where I live. It seems like the men don't seem to want to grow up. I went on one horrible blind date and decided I'm sticking to my plan not to date until this is over. Now I come to find they haven't grown up by 40 either… I'm screwed! I agree with you… I'd rather be single than settle.
Yes. It was very hard to be in a relationship and try to study at the same time. I frequently have to negotiating time with my boyfriend so that I can be alone. If I never met him before I studying for the exam, I probably won't get into a relationship till I am finished with the exam. At the same time, he made me laugh a lot so I forgot the stress from CPA exam. I feel thankful to have him to cheer me up the whole process.
