AnonymousInactive@GottaGetThruThis Nope, me neither! So done with it.
@Herbieherb Fantastic suggestion. Eliminating these elements during study time allows for alot more efficiency. Airplane mode is a great friend.. (my other two are Olinto & Gearty of course)
@T-Rex & @BaseballCPA agreed.

T-rexParticipant@baseball,
“[Logs on] Check photos of self posing in mirror [Logs off]”
Exactly! That and, “Ooh, I'm so cool. I have 1,347 friends.”

T-rexParticipantTo all the single men (particularly those between 35 & 50). Where, oh where, would I find guys like you? If you weren't studying, where would you be hanging out?
I think I'll pick up dating again once I'm done with this monster exam, but online dating isn't for me, and I can't date men I work with. So help me out here, where would a lovely lady in her late 30s, who is obsessed with dinosaurs, find a good guy?

AnonymousInactiveIf only Ross from “Friends” was real! Haha, well I think that shared interests are important…you could try heading down to your local dinosaur museum and casually striking up a conversation with the nearest paleontological enthusiast…you never know where it may lead! 😀 Besides…he could also enjoy reading about the AMT and Like/Kind Exchanges! But I think you're priorities are straight…exam first, dating later! haha good luck! (p.s. pfft, it's only like 1,346 friends, but hey, WHATEVER)

T-rexParticipantGreat idea, Baseball! I could go for a hot “paleontological enthusiast.”

palal9923Participantugh…
I hate my m*&(*Uuin ex girlfriend and I hate how it takes me like 2 hrs to do 40 questions as well.
I was studying fairly well yesterday, and then I got killed on becker chap 4 lifo/fifo section questions because half of the question had to deal with NRV crap.
On top of that I started looking at my ex gfs facebook and i think she was getting ready to have a party at her house or something so I started thinking well what if this what if that…. and just got more pissed off….. so before I went to sleep I made a promise to myself not to look at her fb or anything at least until after the exam is done lol… which basically leaves me to do nothing but browse this website and beckers software.. :-)… so far I have done a good job!I havent looked at it :), but in between doing acquisition cost method questions I do start to wonder about it and how awesome its going to be when the exam is done and i can creep lol…
anyways i needed to vent now i have to go buy new shoes for interview on tues
f***K!

letsfixthisMember@palal9923 seriously man, what's stopping you from de-friending her? Nothing good can come from you staying friends with her on there, it will just screw you up mentally, even after you take the exam. DROP HER!!!

PeanutParticipantI agree with letsfixthis! If you delete her you won't be tempted to be a creeper 😛

AnonymousInactiveAbsolutely NO good can come from you being friends with her on facebook. I'd delete her as a friend, tell my good friends to delete her as a friend, and remove people we were mutual friends with from my friend's list.

palal9923ParticipantWell I got through 88 MC questions in chapter 2 far and did horrible on them but at least I got through them I guess!
August 22, 2011 at 4:48 am #435531
GottaGetThruThisMember@T-rex… What a great question! I'm not obsessed with dinosaurs, but where are you ambitious men? The guys I've met have no idea what they want. Obviously you guys have it somewhat together… I don't think you'd be studying for this test if you didn't.
@palal9923… What are you using to study? I'm using Becker and there are some sections that have 80 questions and just seeing it makes me want to run in the other direction. The hardest part is getting through it… you should be proud of yourself!

palal9923ParticipantYes sir lol I want to run away too… I am using becker it was chapter 2… the first section has about 88 questions for 25 pages worth of info .. im gonna try to take a half day today and study rest of chapter 2… I need to start circling around and memorizing jes and everything else
August 22, 2011 at 5:03 pm #435533
weed74Participantyou guys haven't figured it out yet…after years of casual dating and hooking up, i got into a serious relationship with my (now)wife. i can't think of a better way to do it than to find a girl that will cook, clean, and take care of everything else while you are busy studying. oh, and then when i need a little lovin'….BOOM, go to bed early one night. or go back out and study afterwards. haha it took me about 24 months, but i knocked out the CPA, got married while studying, and got 2 new jobs…the right person won't see the CPA as a struggle but as a temporary phase that will benefit both peeps. my wife is a saint… and just as hot as that study guide babe 😉
you are all probably wondering how i can live such an amazing life and be a cpa…but you've probably seen me in commercials. I'M THE MOST INTERESTING MAN IN THE WORLD.
