I have come across a few Sims in studying for FAR where the answer to one of the first calculations you do affects the numbers for other answers. So if you calculate the wrong number initially, there is no way to get the others right. My question is will they give you credit (or partial credit) if you did the calculation correct but used the wrong number that you had calculated in the same problem?

I dont think so. If you dont have the right answer in the box, its wrong. I would guess this is the reason they have 7 shorter sims instead of one or two long sims.
