    Hello everyone,

I passed Auditing in May and I am scheduled to take BEC July 14th. I plan on taking the 3rd test in late August and a fourth test in October. I would have a month and a half to study for the test in August, and closer to two months for the test in October. I am using the Becker materials. Should I take REG or FAR in late August?

    Thanks!

How many hours of studying do you think you can get in during that 6 week period? Are you working full time? I wouldn't suggest FAR in 6 weeks if you are working full time and have other committments, but if you can get in 160-200 hours of quality studying then it could be possible. REG seems more likely in that short time frame, but it really depends on what your strengths are. If you are better at Financial reporting then take FAR, if you are better at tax and b-law then take REG.

CPA Exam - Finally DONE (November 2014)
    BEC (08/10/13) 80
    AUD (08/24/13) 65 (11/13/13) 85
    FAR (04/12/14) 81
    REG (07/19/14) 69 (11/29/14) 87!!

I do not start working until late October. I am leaning towards taking FAR first right not because I do not think tax was covered very well during my years at school.
