@CPA-Convertible, obviously you haven't started studying for REG yet, because then you would know about the “Married” status on the tax return, and having those cute, little tax deductions (also known as children outside the accounting world).

@NYCPA34, I know I've been amazed at your record before. Go you!

@CashEquivalents, that's quite impressive, especially when you have a score like that to show for it.

What helped you the most in passing in such a short amount of time?

    When I was a student…

    4 weeks for REG

    4 weeks for BEC

When I was working full time…

3.5 weeks for AUD (retake….first attempt was after 3 weeks. Stupid 74.)

Exactly 40 days for FAR (retake…first attempt was after 1 week. Clearly that didn't work out.)

A little over two weeks for BEC and 2 weeks and some change for AUD. I was in school though so I could put in 4+ hours on days I had class and 8+ on some when I needed that extra boost to churn through some material. Close to 3 for REG and about 3.5 for FAR. Very condensed for me but between school exams and other stuff I had to do some short sprints for these exams. Good luck!

    BEC 86 (08/30/11)
    FAR 84 (10/13/11)
    REG 88 (11/08/11)
    AUD 86 (11/29/11)

I think NYCPA34 has the record for fastest pass time of all 4 sections – all 4 sections in 2 months.

@Zaiitz3: Thanks! What helped me most was just going through all of the multiple choice questions at least two times for each section. Good luck with the remainder of the exam!

@bobkorz: Thanks, but I'm sure others have done it quicker than I have. Congratulations on passing!

    FAR - 07/08/11 - 86 (Becker Fast Pass)

    BEC - 08/31/11 - 90 (Becker Fast Pass)

@NYCPA34, did you read the chapters or did you just listen to the lectures/do countless MCQ's?

Zerohedge, let me know how it goes. Does your NTS expire or were you just feeling froggy? I am going to start studying for Audit on Sunday…I have family in town until then. I am wondering if 2 weeks is a pipe dream. I'll just move it if I am not comfortable, but I don't want to prepare and then just review for the entire month of June.

@BDO-Baby I wanted to take all the sections at least once and allow myself one testing period for redos without having to pay again. Also I am done school and studying full time while still living with three in college room mates. 5/11 is the last day of finals for them, and graduation is 5/18. I know if I pushed it past their finals that I would not be able to focus on studying with everything else going on.

I feel really good so far. I watched all the lectures during the live classes so those were done prior to my 11 days. I have done all the Becker MCQs and am working through the whole Wiley book today and tomorrow while taking notes in the NINJA notes I printed out. I also have been reviewing the NINJA notes and listening to the audio a lot. I listen to the audio when I drive, play video games as a study break, and walk my dog. Basically all the times I am not studying.

I am definitely stretching myself, but I think (hope) it can be done.

    Reg - 2/24/12 passed
    BEC - 4/3/12 passed
    FAR - round 2 7/1/12 passed
    AUD - round 2 11/01/12

    Using Becker, wiley, and NINJA.
