So, I’ve heard that we don’t get paper and pencil in the exam, and it has changed to erasable marker and laminate paper, is that correct?

I’d like to study with the same materials that I will get in the exam, so can anyone tell me what to expect, and what to buy if I want to duplicate these materials at home?

I don’t believe this would count as sharing confidential information – I just want to know what the pen/marker is like and the paper/laminate too.

    Is the pen like this?

Or is it more fine point?

Working with a fat marker sounds atrocious!!!!

Any info that someone can provide is much appreciated!!

@tux, I wouldnt worry so much about it. When the change came about last November, I think a few of us freaked out about the change from paper to laminate and pencil to marker. I actually really like the pen and laminate paper. It doesnt even smear and you can see what you are writing whereas in the past, I would get all sorts of colored paper and the pencil provided made it hard to see. Good Luck with your exam!!

They are wet erase markers. I bought a laminated sheet pad on Amazon.

Not exactly what you get in the room, but close enough. It only came with one or two pens. I found replacements at Office Max.

BTW, the pens do dry up quickly but if you keep writing, they start working again. Give that a shot before taking the time to trade one in.
