    Hi All,

Need some advice. Two exams left – Aud and Reg. I have taken both before – Aud way back in July 2015 and got a 67. Reg May 2017 and got a 69. My AUD NTS expires Feb 2nd, and I have it scheduled for February 1st. Do I push it and take reg in early march or wait till april? Or move Aud to January and Reg March or just keep Aud Feb and do Reg in April? I am on Ch 2 of Aud in Becker and was in public accounting as an auditor for 2.5 years before leaving to work for a client in October this year.

    Thoughts?!

I'd schedule two in same window. I scheduled FAR and AUD in same window. I have REG and BEC scheduled next window with about 6 weeks of REG study and 4.5 of BEC. If you put in your 100% effort, it's definitely doable.

considering you already took the exams once before and have experience in audit, i think you'll be fine to schedule both in one window. this past end of october i took BEC and then reg early december and it worked out fine.

Since they are all re-takes, two exams should be fine. I took AUD/FAR and REG/BEC in the same window. It is good to get going rather than taking a break and getting back. Good luck.

    FAR 72,67,79 (Roger+Wiley test bank)11/15
    AUD 80 (Roger)10/15
    BEC 80 (Roger)4/16
    REG 63,78 (Roger+Ninja MCQs)5/16

As long as you can put in enough hours of studying for each exam you will do fine. ~100 hours depending on which section you are taking.

If you can get 25-30 hrs per week study time I would say go for it.

Two exams in one window is definitely doable. I took AUD and FAR in the same window while working full time (AUD at the very first of July '15 and FAR at the end of Aug '16 – so I had about two months between them to make sure I had plenty of time to prepare for FAR).

In your particular case, it's a little difficult to say. Taking AUD at beginning of Feb sounds great (you still have like 5 weeks to prepare), but cramming REG at the beginning of March may be a stretch, even though you've taken the exam before. Maybe it's just me, but REG was my toughest section – so much material, and I had to give myself more than 4-5 weeks. But, if you're diligent, you can do it! Alternatively, if you feel you're ready to take and pass AUD, I like the idea of you taking it in early/mid January and then having extra time to study REG until beginning of March.

At the end of the day, you know you can always push REG back to April. I think a lot of variables go into it – like how much time per week you have to study (as was brought up by other responders here).

I hope this was a little helpful. I think I was just repeating what others are saying/thinking, but hopefully it adds to your consideration of what to do. Best of luck to you!

Thank you all for your advice and help! I really appreciate it.

Go.for.Broke – i think I am going to keep it the same and take Reg in April…I am just dreading for waiting for my score at the end of June. I am just happy to not have a busy season this year and focus on studying while working in private during the winter/spring!!! Hallelujah!

I took REG and FAR in the Q4 2017 window. It was not fun and due to a Prometric Power outage during my September 2017 REG exam I was forced into taking both in Q4 in a worst case scenario would still be able to test in Jan 2018 if I failed, before my BEC score expired. Its really about how much studying you need for each part.

depends on what else you've got going on………if you're a single parent with a full time job the odds of knocking 2 out in one window are much lower (still POSSIBLE, just not very realistic) than someone who maybe doesn't have kids or an ill relative or planning a wedding in 3 mos.
