Scheduling FAR and REG in the same window

    I need help with my game plan for my next testing window. I have between 8/29 to 11/29 to take FAR and REG. I know it’s tight but what would be the optimal split between the two? Right now i’m thinking 7 weeks FAR and 5 Weeks REG. I’d like to hear your thoughts.

    Are you taking REG or BEC? If REG, then the best of luck to you, that sounds rough but the split you mentioned should be your best shot. If it's BEC, I'd do 8 weeks FAR and 4 weeks BEC. Then again, BEC was really easy for me, but brutal for others so it depends on your own personal strengths.

    FAR - 75
    AUD - 72; 87
    REG - 64; 74; 84
    BEC - 88

    FAR - 59, 77 - DONE
    REG - 53, 70, 85 - DONE

    The optimal split partly depends on your comfort level with the material going in– any particular experience with or fondness for JEs or tax/law?

    AUD 84 (1/9/14-Wiley books/TB + free materials)
    FAR 83 (5/21/14-the above + NINJA 10 Pt Combo Lite)
    REG 84 (7/9/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC/Notes)
    BEC 76 (10/5/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC)

    I'm working full time and am going on my fourth year in a public accounting firm. So I'm familiar with JE's but I'm sure most of the entries on the test are the rare, complex ones that don't usually occur in day to day audits.

    I think that should help you.

    I'm a bit confused about your timeline, though– can you start studying for one of them now and take it at the end of August? Or are you already studying for a different section and testing on 8/29, so your FAR/REG prep time would actually start on 8/29?
