I am a Delaware candidate. But I am sitting for the exam in California. For scheduling the exam online at prometric, should I mention the state as Delaware or California?

When you login to Prometric, you input the info from your NTS and the zip code of the location you want to physically go to and take the exam.

I think Mysterymind might mean when you first go into Prometric and select that you're sitting for the CPA exam, what state you select – before the webpage where you would put in the zip code.

My guess is that you would put in as the state the state you're a candidate in – Delaware, and when you get to the part to search for seat availability, you would put a zip code in California where you would like to take the exam.

However, I do not have experience in taking an exam in a state different than the one in which I am a candidate, so I do not know if this is for sure correct.
