I need advice about scheduling my exams. I took FAR in Nov and found out yesterday that I failed :/ (63). I have AUD scheduled for January 13th. My question is should I study for BEC next and take it before the window closes at the end of Feb or should I study for again for FAR and retake it in April? Keep in mind I work full time.

If it were me, I would back up AUD and go ahead and retake FAR first in 2014 and start studying for the retake now. You already have a good foundation in your studying (a 63 is not a bad score for a first take) and you could lose a lot of it if you study for another exam in between the two.

@CPAMommyof3 I really appreciate your feedback! Unfortunately I cannot back out of AUD since my NTS expires in Feb. I am thinking I will get AUD done as scheduled and jump right back at FAR. I really want the beast out of the way.

Gotcha. Then I would definitely get right back to FAR after AUD

I would keep studying for AUD and then take FAR in February. It is frustrating to retake an exam, but you can knock FAR out. Consider supplementing with the ninja 10 point combo to boost your score.

@auslaf its funny that you mention that because i was thinking the same exact thing. Do you think seven weeks is enough to study for FAR retake since the window closes the last week of feb?

I think seven weeks is ok to study for FAR. One of my favorite quotes from this forum was when someone described FAR as an ocean of material that is only a foot deep. Take tons of multiple choice questions.

If anything, I would recommend scheduling Audit earlier in January to get it over with. Audit was my personal nemesis so I would want it over with. Good luck!

thank you so much! it helps hearing for someone who has already gone through this all. I am purchasing ninja notes this weekend and tackling both in jan, feb.
